BellamyBellamy Young, born Amy Maria Young on the 19th of February, 1970, [1]) was an American actor, director, and performer best well-known for her character Melody "Mellie", Grant and the drama of ABC's Scandal (2012)-2018. Her performance was so successful that she got the Critics' choice Television Award for Best Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2014. Also, she was a part of the Fox drama series Prodigal Son (2019-2021). Young began her acting career as an actor in the theater. Her Broadway debut came in 1997 as Mary the Life. The Life. In addition, her Off-Broadway performances include Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Rock Along (1994) and in Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996).
