Lindsey Vonn, an American skier born on October 18 1984, won the gold medal in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics 2010. She has the second highest super score of any skier either female or male. She's one of the best skiers around and is also the most popular American skier. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who competes in the US Ski Team. She won 4 World Cups. She is a well-known athlete in American the history of sports. Only six women have taken home every one of the five World Cup alpine ski events. She has taken home 82 World Cup titles in all. At the end of the World Cup in Sweden this year, one of the greatest and most popular skiers in the US will be retiring. The four-time World Cup winner decided to leave after having a lengthy list of health issues. Her announcement on retirement was posted on social media.
